Kofi Kinaata keeps rejecting my collaboration proposals – Ayesem

Ayesem, a hip-hop/hip-life performer, has declared that he would never seek collaboration with Kofi Kinaata again since Kofi Kinaata has consistently refused him.

The rapper said that his effort to persuade Kofi Kinaata to feature on a song was unsuccessful in an exclusive interview with Nana Adwoa Arthur on Connect FM’s afternoon drive-time program “Yenko fie.”

To me, Kofi Kinaata is like a brother.” We’ve known one other for a long time. I’ve given him tracks in exchange for his help, but he hasn’t accepted.

“Before it was released, I gave him my song, ‘Fantiaa na Meka.'” He was a big fan of the song. As I have indicated, collaboration should be mutual. He even offered some recommendations for how we may proceed, but I never heard from him again.” The narrative was given by Ayesem.

Ayesem carried on with his adventure. “I overheard him say elsewhere that I didn’t approach him properly.” When he required me for his “Made in Taadi” presentation, he didn’t even contact me or my management. He left me a voicemail telling me that I needed to cancel my other commitments in order to attend his. Because we joked about it, I’m not sure how he wants me to approach him.

“I called him in 2019 when COVID was at its peak for the same reason, and he told me that COVID had dismantled his studio.” He promised to come through for me as the dust cleared. I’m not sure whether he’ll get in touch with me immediately away or later.

So I’ve promised myself that I’m not going to contact Kofi Kinaata for another collaboration. I’m still Ayesem, whether or not the collaboration materialize. I don’t need him to make it since I composed the song that initially made me feel alone. “No one came to my aid,” Ayesem said.
