Moses Armstrong, a well-known Nollywood actor, has been detained for allegedly rapping a 16-year-old girl by the Akwa Ibom State Police Command.
Moses Armstrong’s arrest was confirmed by Emeka Rollas, the national president of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, who described the matter as “extremely severe.”
Emeka Rollas said the matter is being handled by Martha Udom Emmanuel, the First Lady of Akwa Ibom, through her Family Empowerment and Youth Re-Orientation Path Initiative.
Rollas said: “To get involved with a child as young as 16 years, is not something I and the association I represent stand for.
“This is a very sad development involving a member of ours, but I would not want to comment any further on this case.”
The news has sparked outrage on social media with many condemning him for resorting to that level to satisfy his s3kzxual urge.
