Kweysi Swat, real name Francis Obeng Appianing, is a modern highlife singer who has released various singles like Wonni Nyame a Due, Adadantoma, Otan Hun, Wala, VUDU, and others. Kweysi Swat was raised by Ashanti parents in Takoradi, and as a result, he is proficient in both the Fante and Twi dialects.

Kweysi had the entire Tv3 Music Music crowd standing all night in 2016 as he delighted them with Good New Skull Highlife Music.

He made his first appearance on the show with his song “Wonni Nyame a Due,” which many mistakenly thought was performed by Nero X, a fellow Tadi singer.

During the election season, he released a tune called “Not a Love Song,” which was played on a number of famous morning shows across Ghana, including kokrokoo on Peace FM, hosted by Chairman General Kwami Sefa Kayi.

Kweysi Swat, the successor to the Ghanaian Highlife throne, can brag of successful songs written by him, making him one of the top composers in Ghana today. (ProfileAbility.com) Available on
